Dear Friends, I did it today!!
This watch has really been haunting me for a long time. It has always been a dream of mine to own a Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon with three flying bridges.
And when I was allowed to admire a first picture/design/draft of the Bucherer Blue model in La Chaux-de-Fonds last year, it was all over me.
I thought for a long time whether I should/may/can make a purchase of this size. Being able to do it wasn't so much the issue. Rather the inhibition to spend so much money „just“ on a (admittedly extraordinary) watch.
I struggled for a really long time (everyone who followed my exciting journey noticed it - LOLLLL), but my love and desire for this watch won out.
Two watches in my collection fell victim to this deal to make the financial hurdle a little more bearable for me.
But now that is all forgotten and all that matters is this new piece full of watch history, art and craftsmanship in my collection. 🙏🙏🙏
I have to say this watch is really extremely difficult to photograph!

Limited to 18 pieces worldwide. Mine is supposedly one of the two first produced watches.
