Mr. Gatsby drank a good wine in perfect stride entering maturity and based on the colour has years to go. Mr. Gatsby if you loved it and the value/ratio is high (which is hard to find in Burgundy), I’d go on the hunt for some cases.
The nicest Echezeaux right there. That RSV will be incredible too. 1996 was a good year! These are still probably young for DRC wines in a quality year.

I have yet to lay my lips on DRC. However, I'm sitting on a bottle of DRC Eschezeaux 1999 in my wine fridge. I've read it's a good vintage. I'm just waiting for the right moment. Enjoy yours!
