The GP 2598, Ivory dial was made from 1999-2001 in very limited quantities(700 in total).
The cushion case 2598, is a 6 hander chronograph with heat blue central seconds and minute hands. There is a polished flanks version and a all satin finish version.
It won watch of the year in Japan.
Applied indices, long lugs that are distinctive. It curves around smaller wrists and is comfortable to wear.
Mine is 20 years old. Keeps time +3-3 seconds a day. So enough nonsense about only buying new watches from ADs. These are made to last. Hand finished.
Neo-vintage GP during the Macaluso family ownership is considered the golden age for Swiss watches and especially for GP.
There is a bracelet version and I switch them around to leather or silicon strap when I feel like it. It oozes charm and casual elegance.
So wake up and smell the neo-vintage coffee. ☕️
These watches can be had for a fraction of the cost of many lessor known brands. GP has been slow in archiving and publicizing some of these pieces. I research them and search for treasurers. Make sure you get a good quality piece.
