With 6 overlapping hands ...
.. I guess it's not a surprise that it ends up being so thick. I didn't realise it was 45mm, so I suppose 15mm probably means it looks right, but it's a very big watch. My chrono one is 42mm x 13mm and I consider it a large watch, the new quattros are 43mm, but much thinner.
It's a handsome watch front and back. The finishing on the movement is unusually good? extravagant? for Chopard with 2 (and a half) bevels on internal corners. From what I've seen they usually make their bridges rounded to avoid them.
One thing I love, that I haven't seen anyone but Chopard do, is this style of display caseback, which looks great when it seems to drop even lower than the movement - I hope I have attached a picture of one of the auto chronos with this back which looks amazing. I think this movement is exactly the same as the one in my watch, but this dished caseback just makes it pop at another level!
