I would have also been very tempted. A good friend got the green dial/yellow gold version last year. The hunter case back is very cool. Great watch I am sure you will enjoy! I think you can wear it fairly casually nowadays.

you have fantastic taste and I think this watch is ideally suited for a retired person who doesn't have to worry about fixing pipes on deep sea oil rigs, flying a plane from jakarta to toronto three times per week, or timing the speed of your new space X ...
It would look sportier and acceptable for daily wear with a light blue or gray or green strap imho. Hope you use it often and have fun. That hunter case is to die for really.
