What I originally thought would be a very quick couple week turnaround at the service centre ended up being much longer. While the watch was running fine. I was no longer able to wind the watch using the crown only the movement of the wrisk or a watch Win...
I also hear the winding sound a tad louder than my other AEs....but it is still keeping good time. However, this was at least 5 months news. Glad that they resolved the issue.
before the company is obligated to put in a brand new movement or a completely new watch. Too much time is spent on specs like METAS (nice as it is to have the rating) and not nearly enough time on durability and timely servicing.
Glad you have your pet Eagle back! My bird is having some winding issues (from the automatic rotor, it doesn't wind well on my wrist) and some big accuracy issues (runs around 20 seconds fast a day sometimes).
The colour and finishing of the dial is just stunning it almost seems alive, glad to hear you have it back and with a new movement it's virtually a new watch. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc
The last time I encountered the same issue on a vintage, turned out that a gear was worn out. But it took 3 visits to the service center as no one noticed until the 3rd round.
