I drive myself crazy wondering why a watch with a white dial, blue numbers has a date window with black numbers, ie my UN Classico for example. I liked it and thought it want a big deal but can’t get over how easy and inexpensive it would be just to print the date wheel with same color as around the dial.
Anyway, I have this gray dial Alpine Eagle and Chopard hit a home run. Love everything about it.
Am not sure I will be able to resist this one!
I got confused by the intense lighting at the AD (see lat two pictures) which is likely not the typical experience for normal lighting…but boy it’s a nice fit on the wrist…also love the “monochrome” feel of the dial color. Even if this is marketed as a 41...

Is this steel or titanium? I believe there is a titanium version also with grey dial.

In the flesh it is very impressive in terms of feel, size and quality. The green dial in an also a possibility until I can get a limited edition 😉. Which would you pick between the green dial and this one?

When this line was released
it left me a bit cold until I saw them and n the metal. They are beautiful. I think this is the Ti version, 21k. Maybe too much money for not being a LUC, imho.

I am pleased to say that Mrs E and I both got on the Alpine Eagle train when it first came out - his and hers in the blue dial. I’m wearing mine now, about to travel for a month. It’s a great watch - and lovely to see that it’s starting to get some recogn...
I must say in the flesh it’s a spectacular watch and the movement performs really well also…still hesitating between this grey and the green (trying to see if I could get the green)..
But surely it will be one of these two. I am missing some full metal watch in my collection
