Alas, I had to return empty-handed; the cost of London hotel for 3 nights was quite a substantial load... The L.U.C XP in steel and blue denim colour cashmere strap went "viral" with PuristS [CLICK to read] I like it a lot and it's very affordable; anothe...  

And I have not found it anywhere yet, neither in Zürich, nor in Vienna - but definitely looking forward to seeing it live. I thought the strap was cashmere but you are of course right with the denim

and all the window shopping I did on Bond St. And the hotel bed picture is so quintessential London, ornate furnishings in a tight space. 😀

I needed a stiff drink (or two) to recover from the shock of the daily tariff for that small room! London must be the most expensive city for hotel rooms per square foot. MTF ...

Now that's one sweet hotel room. I can only afford some filthy B&B above a noisy pub while I was there some 15 yrs ago ......

We've been away for 15 years, working in USA and Asia. Upon our return 3 years ago, we were shocked at the overcrowding in London and the cost of living. Too late.....our bridges were burnt and we are stuck in old Blighty but at least we have beer to drow...  

It's not the sort of thing I would choose for myself, and it got passed along to my clients anyway, but I think 2 nights in London on that trip equalled 4 in Bucharest and 4 in Amsterdam combined. I don't think I've ever bought a watch in London --- no, I...
