Alas, I had to return empty-handed; the cost of London hotel for 3 nights was quite a substantial load...

I like it a lot and it's very affordable; another few nights at the London hotel and the total would have been the price of the L.U.C XP.
But it was not available at the branch that I visited.

And the hotel bed picture is so quintessential London, ornate furnishings in a tight space. 😀
The hotel room was small but perfectly formed and the price was huge!

Even those B&B are now at exhorbitant prices; upon our return
We've been away for 15 years, working in USA and Asia.
Upon our return 3 years ago, we were shocked at the overcrowding in London and the cost of living.
Too late.....our bridges were burnt and we are stuck in old Blighty but at least we have beer to drown in......
