Chopard

First launched in 2006 with an art deco design and an on/off pusher at 10 o’clock (caliber 96 SH), the Strike One has been updated in 2008 with a "tech" opened dial version and then completely transformed in 2022 with a honeycomb design derived from the 1...  

I am biased so I like the last one best partly because it is the rarest, partly because it is in steel which arguably gives the watch even better resonance, partly because I love Chopard's take on the salmon dial and partly because mine will be arriving i...

Purists would disqualify them due to the “hole in the dial”, and I must admit that it attacks the eye right away due to disruption in austerity of the rest of the dial, however because the minute markers are not chipped away, I like it. Curious to hear th... 

believe me, the hole in the dial is simply not a problem at all. There has to be a visible on/off indicator somewhere (it’s a necessity for the wearer/user) and this little hole is a very nice and discreet way to implement it, imo. As for the sound, it’s ... 

Same goes for tourbillons, when it’s not too big. But the truth is, we’re a hard crowd to please! LOL.

And I wonder if some of the things we see as problems are not in fact mere chimeras produced by our sometimes overly photo-centric approach to watches.

(But I'd be very happy with any of the last three).
