An overview of the L.U.C Strike One iterations

First launched in 2006 with an art deco design and an on/off pusher at 10 o’clock (caliber 96 SH), the Strike One has been updated in 2008 with a "tech" opened dial version and then completely transformed in 2022 with a honeycomb design derived from the 1860 XPS line, a sapphire crystal/gong technology and an on/off pusher integrated to the crown (caliber 96.32-L). Here are all the different versions to date:

2006: Initial Strike one (caliber 96SH). Two versions: rose gold/grey dial & white gold/white dial (100 pieces each)
2008: Tech Strike one (caliber 96SH). Two versions: rose gold/grey dial & titanium/grey dial (100 pieces each)
2022: Sapphire crystal/gong Strike one (caliber 96.32-L) in rose gold/grey dial (25 pieces)
2023: Sapphire crystal/gong Strike one (caliber 96.32-L) in white gold/grey-green dial (25 pieces)
2024: Sapphire crystal/gong Strike one (caliber 96.32-L) in steel/salmon dial (8 pieces for Art in Time)

My personal favourite is the 2022 rose gold/grey dial version.

believe me, the hole in the dial is simply not a problem at all. There has to be a visible on/off indicator somewhere (it’s a necessity for the wearer/user) and this little hole is a very nice and discreet way to implement it, imo. As for the sound, it’s ...
