I've been very lucky during my last trip to Hong Kong :-)
Next to the fact that Hong Kong is an impressive city, Hong Kong also is a great place for shopping watches....
What an impressive selection of AD's they have! I've visited quite a few of them during the weekend I stayed in the Four Seasons at Central.
What surprised me is that it was quite easy to buy waitlisted watches from various brands: JLC(Duometre, Reverso), Patek(chrono's, grand complications), Vacheron(golden overseas) and even Rolex (Sky dwellers, Day-dates and Yachtmasters).
What struck me most was the fact that the Chopard flagship store had the watch in stock which I was looking for for over 2 years, the incredible maritime blue Chopard Alpine Eagle, I'm over the moon being able to have it my hands now !
It sits really well next to my wife's diamond set Alpine Eagle 
They also had the limited China edition in stock, too bad it was the rose gold version which I don't like .... If they would have had the steel version I would have bought it as well....
Next to these 2 hard to attain versions they had some other editions as well, amazing to see them In the flesh.

I'd love to see the WG piece you showed with the silver dial and green gems ("tsavorites and white sapphires"). I'm familiar with the other WG Summit piece you tried (chameleon dial) but not that silver dial one. Did you notice if the color of the chamele...

Every brand has a flagship level store in HKG!
It's almost hard to think of a major premium brand that doesn't have a large presence in HKG! FYI, at one point, Swiss watch exports to HKG were greater to the entire United States! Now, that can be "fake news" as this is a technical fact that is accurate...
