Its a valid opinion because I felt the same way initially!
I got the white/silver dial version at an excellent price, but after looking at it over time,suddenly everything feels right,especially under sunlight. I definitely need to do justice by changing the after market strap on mine. Its really an every day watch..chopard went really all out in the early days of LUC to prove a strong point of their capabilities.

I agree with all you have said.
In fact this is still one of my favourite watches even though it is far from being the most expensive I own. It really punches way above its cost with an amazing dial, markers and hands plus of course a great micro motor LUC movement seen through the case...

It was a different era and the LUC sunbeams was still on the way to being established, so I kind of appreciate the design choice but also understand that not everyone does 👍🏻
Your feeling is much more reliable than mine as I’ve never seen the watch in real life.
I’m conscious that it might very well be a detail I wouldn’t mind or even like in real life! So I promise that I won’t mention it again next time you give us the pleasure of seeing this watch!

I’ve never seen the watch in real life. So I should keep in mind that it’s a detail I could very well not mind or even like in real life!
