It was epic yet subtly downplayed.
I was quite possibly the only person who noticed the wines. Our host made no mention of it - the classy thing to do. Half of the guests didn't even indulge, and likely none of the guests noticed the wines. A small number of the guests who knew me recalled I drink a small amount and asked what I recommended. And being Silicon Valley, an engineering-focused town, not a large percentage of guests really appreciate wine nor even recognize famous wine brands nor famous wine regions. These computer engineers do appreciate the watches though!

2013 was fabulous. I bought a case of 2015 and recently opened the first bottle…top notch as well. Likewise I hope we can cheers with a nice bottle sometime.

I requested the champagne XPS when it was presented at W&W. I like the watch itself, however, the rose dial didn't work on my skin. Guess that it will arrive in some months and then maybe I will become a XPS owner as well.
