For me I like the look of the platinum one, plus I love the back just had ginormous hand(?) engraving with plating and the limitation number.

Like both of them, but with a slight preference towards the one in platinum. The only thing that I think would improve the dial would be the omission of automatic, or perhaps have it curved at the bottom of the circle. Drawing a blank here - what's the te...

Yes, grainy texture does the trick. Reminds me an experience I had trading piano lessons for chess lessons with a friend who was a strong master. He asked me "what do you call all of the E flats at the top of the second page of Beethoven's Appassionata?" ...

I also prefer the platinum. The pushers for setting the calendar appear raised rather than flush with the case. I assume you still have to use a stylus to set it? Thanks for the informative post.
