Gentlemen, and ladies. This is my final purchase of the year 2015, I proudly say, and I am so happy that this finishes my watch hobby of the year. I had known this model but it was really this moment that it got my attention quite a bit: WEC Porsche Team ...  

It\'s a beautiful and sporty looking watch too. Wasn\'t aware of these ones, but they\'re nice looking and technically advanced. The date...I agree with you that it\'s good. Without it, the dial might appear to be a bit too empty. Congratulations on this ...

I was tempted by the PPro edition, but this one looked more casual with lighter weight and toughness. Service of Chopard is top notch, needless to say and the quality is really, really high. Thanks and happy new year to you, too! Ken

Is it possible for you to post a short video clip demonstrating the movement of the sweeping seconds hand? At a rate of 8 Hertz, I suppose it must must move almost as smooth as a Seiko Spring Drive.

Here is the small second video. .. and this is the video, but mostly the sound - listen well for a small sound. The first sound is from low beat watch (had to get it close to the mic of my digital camera, so you can't see the watch), and the second sound ...  

And the sound of this 8 Hertz "super high beat" movement is definitely distinct. It doesn't just sound fast. There is also a very unique high tone. Thank you for these videos, Ken.

The croc strap is not bad but makes for a completely different look. I really like the idea of a synthetic strap instead. Generally I find manufacturers should be better at providing alternative strap solutions and to make it easier to switch straps on hi... 

Yup, strap changeability and alternative strap in the box would be really nice. But at this price point, Chopard did a quite good job on the watch. Thanks, and happy new year! Ken

Very very nice, I particularly enjoy the off center seconds hand and the way that the seconds subdial is put together. The dimention of it is great, and seems to play on how cool the seconds hand runs. Happy New Year !!! S

As posted previously, it is my next Grail Had the chance to try it on in Singapore and it is all I imagined it to be! Thanks also for the videos - especially the sound one; while the AD was not exactly crowded, it was much harder to hear it as distinctly ... 

It was a great year after all, having made friends through this hobby and got a nice one at the end. Sure, there was a tragedy earlier in the year, but good things are to be remembered. The tick-tuck sound is really amazing Ken

Thank you for the awesome macro photographs of the dial and how well it was made and the details on the tips of the hands, I always seem to see tweezer marks on the hands, not so on your watch! I like the Nato Strap look. Looks rugged and yet elegant. Tru... 

.. and got really better. I used to own 1.96 based L.U.C model from a decade or two ago, but the hand jumped when trying to adjust time if you don't do it very carefully. But this one or the newer Chopard don't do that. Tweezer marks? Ewww... Sorry to hea...
