Nicoโs picture shows the same polished surface itโs just less visible. I canโt follow the story here but whatever the โcaseโ enjoy whatever you have.

Assuming you're keeping the original dial, the crown location will be at 12 o'clock. Short, wide lugs would work, similar to the original holder. If you look at other Chopard LUC cases from the era where these hands were the signature, you can see the lug...
