The current version of the 'Tank Louis Cartier'
In my previous post about the Santos Dumont,
Ted-Lo was asking about an update on the Tank Louis Cartier.
Unfortunately I only have this weak picture, that I shot at the 'New Bondstreet Boutique'.
This is the largest of the two sizes that are available. On bracelet or on a leather strap.
Mechanical Manufacture caliber and a superb bracelet of a more firm construction,
than the older ones from the 80'.
I love this watch and I do hope that Cartier will also release the model in white gold.

Wow - this actually works for me!!
Why the heck is Cartier not marketing it better?? Pushing Drive and other models first?? Not sure if I like a strap better or this bracelet. Need to see this in the flesh. Thank you much dear Geo.

But that's really my own thought, that Cartier does not produce too many of these 'Tanks Louis Cartier'. This is by all means a watch for the ones that know the brand well. It will never sell that fast as a Santos or Drive de Cartier will do. GEO

That to a substantial extent, they are still “businesses” with a balance sheet and owners to please.

It is a different and easy going watch, but at least it is a real Tank! Ideal as a daily wearer. GEO
