It looks larger because the face is not round. And my picture is angled. It looks more proportioned when taken with the face flat on the wrist. The crystal is significantly domed. But still thin enough to fit under the sleeve. I guess I have to take a picture of that as it is rarely shown.
They say you only need to adjust the moon phase once every 125 years. That is if you kept the watch going for that long. Hehe.

it took me more than 6 months to choose between the Moon Phase and the Small Complications, that I finally bought. Both are so good looking. But he Moom Phases looks so serene, really smart watch. GEO

...wat made you pick moonphase over date complication? A lot of watches are doing just the time with moonphase complication only (very easy to replace+/add to seconds gear) which to me is least useful of all basic calendar functions.
Aesthetics and balance.
No doubt a seconds hand would be useful for accurate time setting. But you know how classic high-end Cartier pieces just tell hours and minutes. Those models with seconds and date are less desirable. Example: Tank Louis Cartier, Cartier Santos Dumont dial...

That's the kind of moon phase complication I like. You only have to reset it never. Very nice watch.
I was never a fan of the original drive, but the moonphase version looks so good
