Cartier

Pasha Viridian …

Cartier has launched the Pasha “Viridian”, something you may not of heard of before, making this version of the Pasha a welcome departure from the predictable.

The name comes from the Latin word Verdis and the first recorded use of viridian as a colour name in English was in the 1860s.

When you view the dial on this Pasha, the colour looks a fabulous combination of blue transitioning to a green tone, emphasised by the sunburst dial.

The chronograph pusher and crown cabochons pick up the blue tone which is produced from synthetic blue spinel complementing the dial and strap beautifully.

Cartier includes an additional strap with the matching steel bracelet. That strap or bracelet is easy to switch thanks to Cartier’s excellent QuickSwitch system. You don’t need tools to remove the bracelet or strap, the Pasha is another Cartier watch engineered with links that can also be removed without the need for tools.

Cartier’s in-house caliber 1904-CH3 MC automatic movement is housed within the steel case. A module-based automatic chronograph operates at 4Hz with about two days of power reserve.

Thankfully, Cartier have integrated the date window, blending with the dial and minimising the distraction.

Please let us know your thoughts on this version of the Pasha.

Best regards
