I finally changed the non leather strap of the Solar-Beat for a green alligator. While I have nothing against the non leather strap, I am very pleased with the new look. GEO ...  

I do not really get Cartier on this one. I would have refreshed the design a little. The technical innovation is quite important yet they do not even write it anywhere on the caseback if I am not mistaken... This will cut some traffic in their boutiques t... 

I really love the fact that they got back to Tank Louis Cartier design, this is a Tank LC in steel, with a modern movement. I really love it, so comfortable and classy yet casual

The case and the strap were both custom ordered at Molequin in Brussels. The strap doesn't need to be a custom order when a pin buckle is O.K.. but since mine had to fit an older deployant buckle, the strap had to be made to measure. GEO

because the production is too low for the demand. The Solar-Beat is a model that you need to order, that has to be ordered to make sure you get one. The watch is not discontinued and it is not a limited edition, it is just hard to get. GEO

I've been saying I want a Quartz watch for a while. Maybe this is the answer?

Definitely a handsome watch. Is there a deployant option? Or is everything in a pin/buckle clasp? Then again I really don't need another watch... So many watches already.
