Dumont Skeleton owners out there?
Recently had the opportunity to handle a Titanium Santos Dumont Skeleton and was immediately smitten! Been on my mind ever since but have a few things that keep coming to mind…
Loved the way it felt on the wrist and the shape of the case combined with the material. However curious to hear from anyone having experience owning or wearing this piece for any extended period of time. Tried to find reviews to better understand how good the ADLC treatment holds up for a daily wearer. The dark look is phenomenal supposing it stays that way even if worn carefully on a regular basis.
Also curious to know whether anyone swapped the strap for something that works better in hot summers. In other words, if there are other Cartier straps that match the lug width or whether alternative solutions were found. Would not plan on going on dive excursions with it but do prefer having the ability to keep a watch on the wrist for a quick shower or during rainy season.
Last question is on difficulties reading the time in various situations where light is not great…
In other words, if anyone has experience with this piece… please share!
