Not yet Octo, but getting there
Jan 19, 2023,16:18 PM
So, the Octo has become my go-to watch over the past two years. And I think I'll get to own 8 of them at some point. I love that it's a very modern watch, but not over the top modern. I got a bit tired of brands always going back in time and doing reiterations / reinterpretations of old watches. That's also why I'm collecting the more modern versions of the Octo. Don't really like the versions with typical/vintage design elements like the Salmon/copper dial or the Philips one. But there are more versions than anyone can collect anyway

Hi. Yes, I‘m considering the Perpetual calendar

The currently availabke versions of the PC don‘t fit my collection well, imho. But once they start bringing out more versions of it, I‘ll probably get one. I also love the GMT Chrono, but it‘s too large for my wrist, so I won‘t buy one. Not a big fan of t...

Totally share your sentiments about the reiterations of old watches. I too dig the Octo. You’re way ahead of me tho, I’m still trying to nail one down. This year I would. The question tho, is which one. Best Gatsby
Thank you

just kidding 😅 it says hello anyway !! The Octo Finissimo (whichever model) is super light, thin and confortable. You have an amazing collection!! ...
You'll get more than 8 Octo eventually, I got this feeling

You definitely need the Tadao 1st gen or the Hiroshi Senju, besides the skeleton. I'm currently happy with my 3 because my my means are definitely limited and I'm going to order my first independent, but I wish I could achieve 8 Octo one day.
I might get more than 8. I just hope I don‘t 😂

And yes, I‘ve thought about adding a 1st gen Tadao a few times. I might jump onto one, if i find a nice one for a reasonable price in my region (don’t want to deal with customs for it). Mostly for completionist reasons, though. So it‘s not that high on my...
I understand this completely.

It was the most excited I got about a new watch in the last several years. And from the outset I knew I had to own one. I could easily see how owning several would be easy (not financially of course lol). I think you need a skeleton. And then move to comp...

I have and love my blue-dial OF. Your showing your wonderful collection, though, has tempted me to buy another. Looking forward to see what 2 you add to make it a true "octo" collection of 8.
So happy to see you back, Mo

And what a great collection you have built here. You are super lucky to Have the tattoo pieces among them. They really turned out so nice. Very well played, my friend 👌
