While watches for gentlemen are the bread and butter for most watch
companies, I suspect that the desingers prefer to create women's
watches because of the broader canvas available to them, in particular
with gem setting.

lots of new information from this reference article. Thanks Ping! We've seen some of the vintage pieces at Bulgari exhibitions but not all in one report. One of the serpenti photos should be stunning....when it loads on my screen...... MTF

I wasn't even aware of the Ipno, which actually looks like a really fun watch that would be at home in futuristic movies such as I, Robot or Minority Report! Also, I adore the mid-60s Serpenti watches! I would feel like Queen Cleopatra wearing such a love...
