Yes, I know it is a defect in my aesthetics...
...or rather a different perception of beauty... Sometimes, a simpler, cleaner look in a watch (5817) can enchant me, but most of times a watch back, like the one in my perpetual 5327, is able to make me look at the engraving like a work of Art....
That does not of course mean that the ones who like the simpler uncluttered look are at fault, and sometimes the movement itself IS a work of Art (look to JLC Duometre for example...)
Diversity is needed so anyone can find the one who speaks to his heart...
