Neoclassical vs Baroque
I would not dream of questioning your sense of aesthetics, my friend and colleague Tassos. Perhaps it is just that my perception of beauty is a little simpler, more neoclassical, than your Baroque taste. Plenty fine examples of both where I live.
I saw this piece on your first post in yellow gold and was moderately interested, but the white gold version definitely speaks volumes to me.

This back is a bit too "sober" for a Breguet, I like the decoration "à la Breguet" for these timepieces even if sometimes we can find them a bit too baroque. Fr.Xavier
