This set reminds me why I love Breguet so much.

but I never really understood the logic of the pusher in the strap: this must not be very convenient to wear

I photographed set no.1 when it reappeared at Sotheby's a few years ago. It was the penultimate lot at the 1991 Art of Breguet sale at Antiquorum. The only set made in a combination of platinum and pink gold. catalog.antiquorum.swiss can only find...

Refinement of a Breguet wrist and pocket watch at its best. Still graceful and not clumsy as today for some models.

Many thanks for highlighting them here! What an amazing pair, from a bygone era. I remember these perpetuals which had the corrector on a chain like this and, like VinnyD, I also wonder how practical they were, not to mention you would have to accept you ... 

A wonderful pairing, and a nice reminder of the source of Breguet genius but where does one carry a pocket watch these days? When I was younger, I imagined that some day I would have the girth to make a vest work and a situation that called for it. But wh...
