This one is really beautiful.

I recently tried it on. The email dial, the details, the thin-ness. It is simply a stunning looking dress watch. The only negative is the size, as I believe a 38mm would be better suited. With the 40mm dial, there is a lot of empty space, which is much more noticeable in the real. The fact that this emptiness is filled with the milky white enamel makes up for it somewhat.

Great capture mate! Very elegant piece.

Love the grand feu enamel dial, not to mention that sunken subdial to add that little bit of depth and character to what is already a gorgeous dial. Pity about the 40mm size, wished it was of a more classic proportion. I guess the thinness makes up for it...

thank you K! [nt]

I've long admired these pieces

As of now I still prefer the more sunken and pronounced subdial of the 5140. Either piece, however, is pure class. ...

Yes sure. All these subtle details make a great watch

A big fan of this watch, but 40mm and the lugs make it wear too large for me to use as a dress watch. The details are great though.

Sounds like

A Breguet 5157 for you! Or A Breguet 5277 #!2454 or, I suppose a Breguet 5177...which is their most popular Classique, judging by the 15 (!) variants.

It really is beautiful. [nt]

i love this bro ! I wish its 38mm as I suspect the straight lugs will overhang my small 6.2 inch wrist Will try it when I can. I love the enamel dial Cheers Robin

I'd prefer 38-39 to 40 as well. But I tried it on this last Friday

and it was OK. The sales advisor said that people wanted this size, and that I'm "a big guy," so that the size is right. I'm a 7.25" wrist and not heavy. Most of my watches are below 40mm. So his comment didn't come out as a compliment, though I know he m...
