The Reveil du Tsar launched in 2003 with seven types of guilloché pattern is still alluring till today, and this classic is reconstructed with an enamel dial in pink gold-case to be the new boutique exclusive edition.
Understand
this is a second shipment, and before it is being purchased from the
Singapore Marina Bay Sands Boutique, here are some snapshots of the
charming Reveil du Tsar with a well-balanced enamel dial.
The alarm setting is done with crown at 4H and while to impart power, is through winding of crown at 2H.
The alarm time set is at the 3H sub-dial (above alarm is adjusted for 5 o'clock).
The sub-dial at 9H displays the 24 hour GMT.
The indicator at quadrant 10H to 12H displays the alarm power reserve.
To toggle the
alarm, depress the pusher located at 8H. The alarm status indicator
is just below the Breguet logo, when the “musical note” appears at the indicator window, it indicates the alarm is ON. For the next few pictures, the alarm is OFF.
Pink gold case of diameter 39m with a thickness of 11.35 mm.
Beautifully blued Breguet hands, always perfect match for white colour dial.
The subdials and alarm indicator were cut-out.
At really close view, the power-indicator seems like printed on the second-surface of the crystal!
An interesting view of the hands in various levels.
The hour and minute hands exited directly above the 9H of the alarm-time.
Varying richness of the blued-hands at various incident light angle.
Neatly chamfered date window on the Emaille Grand Feu dial ...
Signed crowns ...
Alarm is ON with the 'Musical note' displayed.
Interesting to note how the hour-markers are prepared, double-precision print to achieve the effect.
Anyone of you notice the secret signature of Breguet?
Perhaps this grayscale picture is revealed clearer.
Is it the first time the serial number of the watch not displayed on the dial? Or it is hidden, I wondered.
Sapphire caseback, housing the automatic Calibre 519F, beating at 4Hz and has a power-reserve 45 hours.
Several wrist-shots ...
This boutique exclusive is not of limited quantity production. And the last piece of info, noted the list price
of this new Boutique Edition is the same as the ongoing model.
Would like to hear the thoughts of Breguet lovers and owners about this piece.
Thanks.
