Hi JY, I have had an RdT for almost two years and for the best part of that it was a "Special watch" that I only used for special occasions. Earlier this year I put my daily wearer, a Breguet Marine 5817 , in for a warranty repair, and the Reveil du Tsar became my daily wearer. I was amazed at how comfortable I became with that watch on a daily basis. I went overseas for a week, but ended up staying almost eight weeks, and so it becme part of me. It is a nice watch to wear, both in size and weight, a delight to enjoy from an aesthetic point, the dual time zone is functional and the alarm has been very useful... even for waking me and reminding me to get out of bed. As you would know, on the wrist, the alarm is not so loud, but if you follow the directions in the user manual and place the watch on a resonating surface like a bedside table... it rings very loudly like a small alarm clock. I particularly like the way the two crowns balance the watch in this position. Sometimes we tend to baby an expensive watch, but I, like you have found a new respect for the Reveil du Tsar. A truly useful and beautiful quality piece, from a fine house. Kindest regards, Jack
