Anyone with a Ref. 3860 Reveil?
In addition to the Type XX Chronographs there has been an alarm model in the series as well, namely the Ref. 3860 Reveil.
I have only seen it offered for sale once in the last two years and then I was way too slow and indecisive - early days
I was wondering if anyone has one or has handled one and what the impressions have been...From what I have been able to find on the watch online, it has been produced in 1998 in a limited run of 500 pieces, with the Breguet 579 movement (based on the Lemania 2980). Actually looks quite appealing to my eyes, even if very different from other Type XXs

I thought it was based on an AS movement!
I saw a few of them, maybe 4 or 5 in the last ten years, only... And I was tempted more than once. Didn't grab it but with regrets... Best, Nicolas

How did they feel compared to the normal Type XX? I assume they must have been charming enough to tempt you, right? The movement is aparently the same as used in the Classique Ref 3600, if that helps...
37, 38mm?
Smaller sounds better IMHO Find that the under 40mm diameters suit me wonderfully...

Unfortunatly no...
... those were the times when I only enjoyed the watches without feeling obsessed to take photos of them If you find one as a complete set and your temptation is not strong enough, let me know, please ;-) Cheers Henrik

The logo is truly discrete and not where one would look for it, the dial is supremely legible, the size is right and it has a cool complication (even if not particularly loud). Wonder why they limited it to just 500...
