We live in interesting times as horology seems to be moving towards more modern pieces and styles. Thankfully, the 60+ year old crowd may love this new model AND buy it. Would be interesting to know the average age of buyers for this piece.

Love the dial, etc, and do hope they're all spoken for by now.

I am 61 and I love this watch. Then again, those who know me will tell you that 30 years ago, I would have still loved this watch as I have always been partial to classic dress watches rather than anything sporty or avant garde. This is Breguet at its bes... 

Really could not live with a watch with only 1 hand. Based on their original souscription ofcourse ... but not something I like The movement is gorgeous Pretty sad I don't like it

everyone including Breguet knows it is part of the permanent collection and not limited in numbers.. Your original source was definitely incorrect.

Numbers will run from 250 to 4250, according to Breguet Boutique.

I'm not really a buyer, but I like the single-hand novelty of the piece, and its seems very well done overall. Reminds me of the AP Philosophique, which of course derives from non-AP pieces, including Breguet itself. The Breguet enamel dial is lovely and ...

And fairly unique as I am seeing less one handed watches these days. What do you think of the new lug design (non soldered)? One of the things I always noticed about Breguet lugs, along with it being one of their hallmarks, is they tend to stick straight ... 

It does look different. I do like the overall design. Hopefully I can see it in person to try it on! ...  

Having said that I am not going to be a buyer either as one handed watches are just not my thing but I am sure there are those that will want and desire this watch and hopefully get to have one too. Marc

...the gold tone in the photos looks nice too. I'd have to try it on, but this is a super dressy watch, so 40mm might be a bit large.

no one says anything when the Voutilainen Vingt 8 is 11.5mm or when the RW Smith is 13.5mm

since the lugs are not the usual straight Breguet lugs, thank goodness. I love the dial and assuming the lug to lug is 47mm and below, I hope to buy one.

The lug to lug is 48mm so I will need to try it on first.

It doesn't immediately fill me with need but it's *absolutely* the kind of watch I want to see Breguet making.

But is it all that they can make, after 250 years? Remake, re-edition, but where are the ideas?

Which is marketing wise much better than launching everything at once …. Now they can get all the attention every time they announce something new 😉

It's another nice, (apparently) well executed remake. But it's dull, it's just the basic homework you'd expect from the promising student, nothing stands out.

They hit the simplified (even if they had to add a keyless works) but affordability is a bit of a challenge....

it's right in the actual market prices: so pricey, but not insanely so, compared to the competition.

the level of what "independent" pricing was two years ago! For example, Sekiguchi started his three hand watch at 60 and is now asking 80...

But not really tempting for me.

And they got the lugs right, too. Shape, proportions, compound curves. Just elegant and lovely.

It has a dandy vibe. Why not? It’s a nice and clean design and the movement is beautiful.
