The sudden arrival...

Jun 07, 2024,18:52 PM

Initially I have no plan to acquire any watch from the 70th FF anniversary due to the availability and market price. Of course the act 3 looks too good for a neo vintage guy like me to forget. 1 year after its launch, the destiny has arrived when I searched it on the internet randomly, I did hesitate a bit, yet i knew the time has come.🙂 It is the first time for them to revisit the original case size/design, I think the product outlook is a mixture between the FF US navy and FF milspec 1; playing tribute to the rare bronze FF by using the "bronze gold" case is quite a choice for this final piece from the 70th anniversary; other details like the domed crystal, typography and bezel/dial ratio are well executed. Horever, the case is quite thick for a 41.3mm watch, and the decoration of the 1154 movement is uninspired for a watch with this price tag, and the price tag itself is ridiculous for a 37.5% gold watch; overall it is not perfect but still an enjoyable and special watch.

The wait is like forever (when 40mm limited FFs become saught after) and I am not actually well prepared for it, as well as my wallet😅

True! ;)

I do think so...

It nearly ticks all boxes for the revival elements in paper form, but the real product is a bit rigid/sterile/chunky/fake(?)🤔 from picture, luckily i think in flesh its still enjoyable🤝🥃

I may follow you down this rabbit hole…

My honest opinion is...

I hope they will be more restraint🤔 , 2019 i paid the premium to get zenith a386 revial with the original case and dial remake, less than 2 years they released the new regular one with the same case and near the same dial layout, i felt like a fool.🙃 ...

…would TI fit the bill?

 By: j.jota : June 8th, 2024-01:06
Maybe with a milspec bead-blast finish?

 By: amanico : June 8th, 2024-05:09

They will fully utilize the new(old) case🤑

Just a matter of time.

Good luck hunting 🤝🍻

Could be easier(?) than the previous 40mm limited FFs

Good luck hunting one🍻

Should be easier than previous 40mm limited FFs.

True and nicely put.

Are professional psychologists😎 the whole 70th anniversary campaign is a trap to those fans🕳️

I have searched a bit for what titanium 23 is...

 By: saintseiyaikki : June 8th, 2024-14:10
What i get is when titanium turns to super saiyan mode 🙂

Thanks for the Info 🤝🍻

I wore it for a whole afternoon yesterday, the bronze gold case seemed not as heavy as i thought🤔

I personally love heavy watches.
