Initially I have no plan to acquire any watch from the 70th FF anniversary due to the availability and market price. Of course the act 3 looks too good for a neo vintage guy like me to forget. 1 year after its launch, the destiny has arrived when I searched it on the internet randomly, I did hesitate a bit, yet i knew the time has come.🙂
It is the first time for them to revisit the original case size/design, I think the product outlook is a mixture between the FF US navy and FF milspec 1; playing tribute to the rare bronze FF by using the "bronze gold" case is quite a choice for this final piece from the 70th anniversary; other details like the domed crystal, typography and bezel/dial ratio are well executed.
Horever, the case is quite thick for a 41.3mm watch, and the decoration of the 1154 movement is uninspired for a watch with this price tag, and the price tag itself is ridiculous for a 37.5% gold watch; overall it is not perfect but still an enjoyable and special watch.
