Sorry about your problem
I am amazed though... I have never seen any problems with the FF apart from the known early bezel problem (an easy fix)
I condsider my FF to be the most solidly built watch I own
You say normal daily wear, but please can you tell us more about what happened?
I am sure that Blancpain will repair it to better than new - please let us know how it goes

If there is one piece I would not expect to ever see this, it is the fifty fathoms. Of course all can happen to anything mechanical but not on a fifty, don't you agree? Anyway I guess I have to take it in ;-( and I eat some pain blanc till it returns!...

I did not capture it (I will try later), I even noticed some strange marks underneath (but in) the 'ceramic bezel' as if the water goes in it. I did not see that before, but I did.

It is good to have a plausible explanation. Will you be keeping the watch after it has been repaired? At least it will have had a thorough examination and rebuild by Blancpain : )
