Something different...

As a fan of Blancpain's modern Bathyscaphe and having owned both the OC Chronograph and black ceramic time and date versions, I found myself drawn to this most outrageous and perhaps polarizing version.  I've mulled it over for the past several months and was able to arrange a favorable trade with my AD.  As an almost life-long diver, both professionally and as a recreational diver, I've had a mixed relationship with using dive watches for diving but have used almost all of mine at least once and if I ever get to go on another dive trip, this one will be no exception.  Of course I would pick it up on the eve of the New Moon so won't be able to get the full moon phase experience for a couple of weeks!  More photos to follow in due course.  Thanks for looking!

It might be too strange a mixture for me--but I'll be interested to hear what life with it is like!

Thank you everyone...

For the kind and thoughtful comments. As expressed, the complications really do not seem to detract from the readability of the hours and minutes. Both main hands and the seconds hand are lumed and are as visible at night as the time-only version. The big...

I think it looks great.

The Bathyscaphe line is an all time favorite for me, though I prefer the plain time and date only. I surely would be proud to have this one in my collection! πŸ˜ƒ
