Nice Bronze FF :)
May 27, 2021,07:15 AM
Just kidding, what a stunner!
I almost got a steel one 10 years ago, back then the price difference between the 8 day luminor, the new cartier diver and the FF wasnt that big. I really wanted a handwound movement and ended with the panerai but the FF was the best, to this day I still remember the mechanical feel and precision screwing the crown onto the case, pure joy! The cartier was the worst with its fake screws, wobbly bezel and subpar crown.

WHAT A WATCH!! I am so happy!!
By: MTR : May 26th, 2021-18:10
Ok, forget my countless (and completely fruitless) vows that I will not buy a watch again for a long time. I have prescribed myself a hard watch diet after buying my IWC MR in November 2019, after buying my Moser Perpetual Purity in February 2020, after b...
I am happy for you Thomas

You share your positive vibe the Blancpain gives you. Stop buying watches and break the self promise is a sign of your watch personality. If i’ve got questions about Blancpain, i know who i can ask. I do not want to disturb your honeymoon for awhile, enjo...

you cannot disturb my honeymoon with your friendly post! On the contrary: I was very happy about your lines. And yes, you are always welcome to ask me about Blancpain. But be careful: there are many here who know a lot more than I do! 😊 Cheers Thomas
Thank you, cazalea

respectively Mike (?), if I remember one of the threads well? Yes, you describe it very well, it is indeed a truly mind-blowing experience… I appreciate your Ex-Half Hunter. A beautiful watch, too. I hope it wasn’t your only BP? Cheers Thomas
Congrats Thomas!!!

The Bugatti of divers in a material that reinforces its status imo . Enjoy it in the best of health! Alex
Thanks a lot, dear Alex!

Indeed, this watch in brushed red gold is really a stunner. I really longed for this FF in this special case material, and I don't regret it for a second. Cheers Thomas ...

Thanks a lot for your compliments. I don't dare to say it, but I made these quick shots just with my simple iPhone 11. So, nothing special. And remember the pics of our Henrik. These are really stunning photos!! Cheers Thomas P.S.: This brand and especial...

“fellow addict”. 😊 The “choice” is made rather easy when you let your heart speak. This hobby resp. addiction is all about pure … emotion. I do remember that we have a similar taste when it comes to pieces that are not so … common (Zenith Pilot Montre d’A...

I am very curious how my FF will behave in (my) real life. In the meantime, I've become more relaxed when it comes to accuracy. I'm no longer an accuracy freak because it took away some of my joy when a watch wasn’t performing … well. It’s a piece of art ...
Very well said.

A thoroughly positive approach! Cheers Thomas
Thank you, dear Miguel!

I still remember your “I vote for blue” in my previous thread. Did you make some wrist shots. Will you pull the trigger? Best Thomas
Thanks a lot for your warm-hearted post, my dear friend!

I appreciate your comments very much since I like your style and admire your tasteful watch collection whenever I read your posts. I am proud to be a member of the “BP club” now. Thanks again for your kind words, Tony. Now I have to put my smartphone - an...

Yes, RG seems to be a great combo. And this satin brushed case really … glows in soft light. You can see it even on my poor iPhone pics from this evening. Cheers Thomas ...

You should try a FF again.

I really love the presence, robustness and uniqueness of Panerai. But this BP is a completely different world of watchmaking. Best Thomas
Thank you, dear GM!

The word “ravishing” is pretty apt. I am really blown away with this watch. Cheers Thomas
Aaaaahhh…. the Grande Date!
By: MTR : May 27th, 2021-22:50
This is a great watch! I like the satin-brushed titanium case very much. And the the position of the big date window at 6. Together with the removed applied numerals at 3 and 9 this leads to a great balance on the dial. Best Thomas
Thank you! 😊
By: MTR : May 27th, 2021-22:22
And yes, the movement is a marvel… Cheers Thomas ...

Dear Galen, thank you for your kind words and your great feedback!
By: MTR : June 16th, 2021-11:45
I have to admit that I'm still in the honeymoon phase. It even goes so far that I took the watch with me to the office today, because I don’t want to part with it after a few days at the lake. I don't normally wear colored gold watches in the office. I ha...
Thomas you definitely have to make an exception.

That watch is pure class. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I have never really known anything about Blancpain. I will be sure to do some research on The brand. In the past many years I’ve been somewhat of a Patek fan boy.. And I am sorry...
You are really very nice and your post gives me great pleasure!

In my humble opinion you can't avoid brands like ALS or Blancpain and many independents if you value high manufacturing artistry combined with a comprehensible price-performance ratio. I have learned that these untrodden paths (where the market is not yet...
I completely agree Thomas. I am a watch enthusiast and watch lover.
By: Costa (aka Connie) : June 16th, 2021-14:35
I am not an investor in watches whatsoever. I buy watches for the mechanical artistry and pure visual pleasure. My brother likes boats and enjoys buying them. I always make this comparison. I spend almost as much on a few watches as he does on a boat yet ...
I completely understand your attitude, Galen.
By: MTR : June 19th, 2021-19:42
Watches are just “things” but can be an essential part of your life. I cannot imagine leaving the house without a watch on my wrist. So it is essential for me to just wear what I love and like and not what others might see as a good investment. UN is also...
