In mint condition. An affordable icon. Another way to travel. A bit slow on the road, but how charming... Best, Nicolas ...

Slow is in the mind of the driver

I know you are winding me up! We have driven over 200,000 km in my Citroens, and they are fine compared to normal driving (pre-pandemic). Now everyone in California drives like a maniac, and the speed limit of 65 mph 105 kph is the minimum! and they are t...

Down hill certainly. ;)

Here is an early example from this summer, that predates the funky 60s colours and I can testify it can be relatively fast in the twisties ...

This is my 1955 2CV, built in Slough, England

but that badge on the bonnet? pretending to be an Hispano Suiza?

I don't think so

 By: cazalea : September 12th, 2022-18:47
The only similarity is perhaps a location on the bonnet, but as the 2CV had no radiator they had to put it someplace. The Hispano-Suiza mascot is on the radiator cap and clearly resembles a stork ...

It was a manner of speech Cazalea

The badge seems a little 'over the top' for such a communal vehicle. No offense intended at all, the 2CV is a wonderful car (I own a Mehari, its close sibling)

No problem ... I have had a Mehari too

From about 1977 to 2013 when it finally went away and we still have this Belgian van Transplanted to the Americas in 1994 ...

Wonderful version dear Mike!!

I remember riding in them and being amazed by its awesome suspension. As a curiosity they were also made in Argentina in several versions: four door, van, Mehari, etc. A very popular vehicle here in the 1960’s and 1970’s and well in the 1980’s a nice remi...

Ha ha ha!! True!!
