...was pretty pure in the past. The 1955 550 Porsche Spyder was as pure as they come. Some cars do look better in coupe guise but open top versions, at least to me, are just as pure.

Some convertible look better with top down but this one is better with top up

What strikes me is how much ridiculous gizmos modern cockpits have: touchpads, radars, fake engine sound, you name it. Those were simpler times, when the entire option list was revolving on leather colour and paint samples

I spent 3 years having this one renovated. Lovely car to look at. Achingly beautiful. I just didnt like the drive after all that was said and done. ...
