Well, all silly me wanted to do was

 

share a joke folks here might find funny, too. Maybe my retelling ruined it. (A man sighs.) As for the movie, I’m in your camp. I haven’t read a single review yet, found the picture highly entertaining, Pitt’s and Bardem’s characters charming, the acting convincing, the production super slick as expected, the story, uh, basic, and the suspense made me do serious damage to the armrests.

spoiler alert: Our hero just won the Daytona race, doesn’t linger afterwards because he’s Brad Pitt and just not that kinda guy. Sits in his van, about to leave, his team boss rushes after him, waves I think an open box, shouts: “The watch!” Our hero grin...

Everyone and their brother were wearing IWC except a few Richard Mille.

I won't give any spoilers but I really wasn't impressed or even really liked the film and am at a loss as to how or why it is getting rave reviews.

Oh yes and the thing with a winners 24 hours Rolex Daytona was just plain stupid. As the drivers he plays are broke no way would he leave all that money available to him just stupid as is most of the film IMHO. Marc

After all, there is BIG money behind this film. Made for a generation that is into lifestyle rather than cars and racing. Thankfully, I was invited and my frequent naps didn't cost me anything. Don't waste your money and stay home.

A light, upbeat piece of entertainment Predictable, full of technical errors but with a bit of "willing suspension of disbelief" it was enjoyable. To me (More than the current overload of Marvel/DC stuff)
