Not unique, while i use unique as a metaphor to describe the flach nase.
We can discus if it is the most desired 911 among collectors.
Personally it is one of the 911’s that is on my list to have, but i can not buy.
Same as a Singer and 991. The last air cooled 993 is also marvel of a 911.

I had the pleasure of driving it as a friend of mine had one in Dubai
He sold it for a very low price in 2006 as no one wanted in then & eventually the Porsche club UAE President took his car … for me the 911 normal is my alley .
agree the traditional light is more quintesential
but IMHO this is one is the most sexy popup of all car models ever. Personally 964 flaunder popup Flachbau and 288 are two ultimate supercar.

Are you referring to the “tea tray” or “whale tail” spoiler on the back?
I think they actually served a purpose given the extra power served up by the Turbo and the 911’s already tail-happy handling. Apologies if you’re referring to something else. Wish they still made Saabs!
The whale tail was not to my taste.
Aesthetically the street spoiler could have been a better design.
Agree it is a bit out if place on street car
Yet is is in harmony with turbo/rs/rsr widebody
