One of my personal favorite cars of all time is the first generation Ford GT produced between 2004-2006.

Snik snik snik...everything just falls into place for me.
It immediately felt comfortable and fit like a glove. The transmission, gear ratios, shifter throw, power and torque bands, ride...everything felt just right to me. Your personal "fit" may vary, as, for example the SRT Viper took lots of getting used to, for me, for hate and disdain to morph into respect and later possible love...

It's road manners are impeccable, very confidence inspiring. During a mixed run where I was leading the group, only the gen 2 AMG SLS, driven by someone who had finished the AMG advanced course, was able to keep up, and I was only pushing the Ford GT 6 / 10. Torque from low down, seemingly endless power up to the gear ratio limits, even though it is supercharged the power and torque delivery is very linear, almost NA-like.

The body is purposeful, beautiful in a race car sort of way without looking cartoonish. A design that will age well and gracefully, as time has already proven.
A personal favorite, it has earned a permanent spot on my list of all time greats.
