Superb post. BMW owners have a wide range of possibilities to upgrade their cars.

Not the same here, in France, and for Volvo owners.

You have well known brands such as Heico, or Polestar, which bring some interesting and great offers to increas the power of your car,, the brakes, suspensions and so on.

The main problem is that cheap tuning is not homologated in France. So you can't do that on your Volvo, which is the less expensive way to have better performances.

So, I am working on another playground: I opted for a bigger intercooler, sports exhausts, KN filter, and a new inlet manifold which optimizes the boosted air distribution between the cylinders.

I will gain circa 35 HP, and 55 Nm... Which will be a total of 265 HP and 400 Nm.

I still hve to install the new inlet manifold, at the end of March. Then, I'll check if I need to improve the brakes and the suspensions. I already have some ideas, but well... First engine tuning, then the rest.

As for BMW, the offer is wider, with the same problem ( the prohibited cheap tuning ).

You report made me want to dive into motor tuning, again!

I don't know if I have to thank you for that. wink

Best!
