Sorry Abel, technical difficulties... Here's my complete answer

It is funny because my answer will look like yours: "Bottom line, except for two exceptions that we won't name, I love them all too". Altough I have nothing against Lazerby.
But my sweet spot is for Pierce Brosnan. Not so much his last two however, as he did not have the same energy as in Tomorrow never dies per example. I find that Pierce has collected the good of both Sean and Roger then he created an almost perfect modern James Bond character. On the other end, IMO Daniel Craig represents exactly what 007 was in Ian Fleming's books. Ian's character did not have the gentleman manners that Sean Connery had, nor Roger Moore's sense of humor or all the technology at the service of Pierce. He was physical, "rough on the edge", the same way as Daniel is. Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson had pushed 007 to the limits of the impossible with Die another day. The smartest move they could have done was to bring the franchise back to Ian's roots with the contribution of Daniel Craig. And they succeeded.
The big question remains: Who will be the next James Bond or should I say, the next 007? Because I do not think that James Bond will be back, but 007 can. 007 can be anyone, male or female. We shall see smile
