Small visit from a friend with his dad's 964. Some small changes like the RS-style mirrors and air-inlets in the front-bumper ... Lowered BILSTEIN suspension .... Lightweight RUF-wheels ... How pure and fluid can it get ? The black paint even makes it loo...  

One of my favorite references from the 911 range and what a beautiful specimen your friend's father has, looks so Pure as you've said, maybe the 964 is the Purest Porsche? Thanks for the Great Pics. S

.. gets used well but also receives the care it deserves, i noticed it had high-spec Michelin tires fitted. My friend told me his dad had just bought an extra 911 .. a 2.4 T from the 70ies .... a shame (for me at least) prices of nice classic cars are goi... 

Price are going really crazy for the 964s, its ok, I don't have to own everything I like, I can admire them just the same, tonight I saw a red Porsche 997 Turbo S Cabriolet with Black Interior, looked so beautiful and amazing but would I buy one right now...

I didn't bother having the water cooled engine evolution but the turbo is a clear no go for me. It is a beautiful 964, congratz to your friend and thanks for sharing! Cheers, Mark

.. the only non-turbo 911's now :-( They can't fit a turbo on a GT3 because then it becomes a GT2 :-) We can only guess where we're going too next .. electric turbos seem to be the future these days .. next to the electric cars off course. No matter how f... 

At least there will remain one atmo. When I saw the GT4 (Boxster based) with the manual gear box, I thought they were going back to roots (compared to the PDK-only GT3). If you wish to go for this 964 model, then you might need to move fast if there will ... 

GT4 is indeed the one to have, atom and manual ... but with the new GT3 having 500 hp i can understand the need for an autobox. I don't think i'll go for whatever P-car in the near future as it's financially not possible but at least i have enough friends... 

Well, I'm not sure hte 500hp needed an auto, they know how to make such nice manual gearboxes. The PDK is nice at the beginning as you feel like a F1 driver: but you have to push each gear far up in revs. Otherwise, when changing gears at 3000 or 5000, I ... 

Several friends told me the 996 was/is a very enjoyable car to drive, a customer had a black 996 Turbo with black wheels ... now that was a nice looker ! I will ask my other 'friend' to hand me the keys of his black 996 .. i think it's a 3.4 as well. Fili... 

and yes, i cant believe taht those prices are still getting up, the cars are not that rare and they can be found easily so why this exageration. Dont misunderstand me, i am a big fan of the 911 as you know but since the 50 years it is getting out of contr... 

I still have some spare room in my barn .. but better hurry up as my 205 XS is nearly finished ... er drivable i meant ;-) Prices are stupidly crazy, but i just saw a friends order for the brand-new GT3 RS ... 198 K Euros ... isn't that a whole lot more t... 

and being resold for 60-70000 above official prize. The GT3' s are being sold used more expensive than new altough you could still order one from the factory... I made a good deal on mine: i ordered a new one cheaper from the factory as a used one... Funn... 

Strange world, too many people make too much money too easy ? Or do all the car freaks suddenly realize they NEED a cool car ? IMO this is the beginning of the downfall somehow ... same thing happened during the 90ies with brand-new Ferraris, any Ferrari.... 

and as i needed a daily driver... Due to my new professional challenges ... I thought that the GT3 was ideal ... Because my wife will not lend me her Macan coming in september. The 964 is definitely the next car but first i have to take delivery of the gt...

squarely going very, very fast. The frame and axel were bent beyond repair. The way it happened was that he was following a car whose oil pan cracked and all the oil dumped not he track. He went through the oil slick coming out of a turn and lost control ...
