No fear

No fear best friend.
I know combustion engines are emotional.
You grew up with V8, 4 in line, the smell of petrol on gas stations (like the best perfume for me), the nice sound exhausts make, easy fill up and go.
It was an era.

I discussed with colleagues the need for electric cars.
And they are after 20 years carbon neutral, and i have no children, and the Kona electric of a friend is more in the garage for repairs than he drive and so on.
Than i said to them, the point of start must be made somehow, the chicken and the egg story.
Why had we forgotten to discuss this when the first petrol car hit the road?
That’s why i embrace electric mobility, and i can not wait when i’ve got my first Taycan.

Can car brands redefine themselves for an “electric mobility” world?

Stellantis just tackled this subject, presenting slogans, or mission statements, that sum up each of its 14 brands, as part of its electrification strategy. The company has to carve out a niche for each of its brands in Europe and the U.S. One analyst (ha...

Perhaps a statement of intent more than anything else. At the least they have to be seen to be doing something. (I won’t miss internal combustion engines. Don’t get me wrong, a good one is a thing of joy. But there are far more important things than the p...

… refusing to fly … that would mean not being able to visit family or pay dearly to do so.

No fear

But I have nothing to fear from electric cars. They will offer a daily drive that enables us to enjoy our classic fossil fuel cars at the weekends, without being viewed negatively.

Actually I think E cars are fine as an option but I don't like them being mandated as the only choice as I don't believe they are the wonderful solution to a debatable problem. If all cars are

forced to be electric we will have a new set of issues to deal with unless we master fusion. We're already dealing with not having enough power here in California. I think there are more forces at play here than what is advertised and it seems wrong that ...

Some of these mission statements are ridiculous and not in a funny way, like if Jeep adopted the slogan, “Head for the hills.” Dodge for instance, its current halo cars are all about affordable, excessive power over expensive refined power, while its affo...
