Ferrari is only around 11,000 cars per year. Rolls-Royce, a brand with an established dealership network worldwide only sold around 6000 units in its best year ever. Hard to say if 7,000 is going to happen for Lotus anytime soon! Good luck to Lotus!

So an average of 1000 cars a year. That was in 1998! A young Clive Chapman (son of the founder Colin Chapman) in 1998 Lotus got to 100,000 in 2018 on the 70th anniversary of the company (Hazel Chapman and her no longer young son Clive). That's an average ...  

That 340R is indeed impressive!

And it is nice that they kept the weight manageable for a modern car. If the v6 had a little more punch would consider pursuing.

It's an AMG motor, so certainly a bit more could be found with a suitable infusion of cash
