I love the brand and regret some issues they'll be facing

 

Thanks for the beautiful video Patrick.

The design and the motor's sound of Aston Martin cars are one of the best out there.

In the mean time, they've encountered a lack of developpement and they have out of age engines (consumption from the early 2000's) and gearboxes (expecially the auto reminding the visco-coupling tech).

Thus, when I learn that they are getting the AMG engine+gearbox pack in the future, I think we won't have the same sound and, hence, sensations that we have now (my favorite today with Pagani Zonda's, Lambo's and Ferrari's engines).

I don't understand how they didn't manage to be financed by external investors (or new shareholders coming in), I'm sure they would have done a fantastic job and would have remained at the top. Especially when I see how talented guies and money helped Jaguar's rebirth with the F-type.

so addictive, I was told by Aston Martin people that the Rapide is in fact one of their best, if not the best handling car in their lineup :)) Just put on new sets of rubber and had the servicing done, ready to roll. Thanks for sharing this nice video, Pa...

Enjoy it! Drive it every day! If I had a car like that... I think I'd have to be kept away from it. If I had a car like a Rapide, I'd even get a second job as an UBER driver just to have an excuse to drive it around. It'd be a losing money proposition and...

I didn't know about the Bentley/AM thing in I. Flemmings books... The look of these AM are incredible, fro the AM V8 to the DBS etc... Time will tell indeed. Cheers, Mark
