Poetry.  It's a classical communication medium, and it's able to inflect a great number of emotions in just a few words. 

Aston Martin, the car brand that is known for making some of the most stylish cars in existence and the best sounding cars in existence, has now also made one of the best car-related poems too.

Definitely not for the conservative!

The green with the yellow lipstick looks great in my eyes.  Yes, they call it "lipstick" I didn't make that up on my own. 

And did you see the price?  This is the most reasonably priced Aston Martin too! 

Even the Bang & Olufsen sound system is edged in the same color as the lipstick. 

Aston Martin made a winner here.  It' may not be the fastest car in this price segment, but it certainly is the most special! 

so addictive, I was told by Aston Martin people that the Rapide is in fact one of their best, if not the best handling car in their lineup )

Enjoy it!  Drive it every day! 

If I had a car like that...  I think I'd have to be kept away from it. 

If I had a car like a Rapide, I'd even get a second job as an UBER driver just to have an excuse to drive it around.  It'd be a losing money proposition and a waste, but the sound of that car is just so enjoyable...

The design and the motor's sound of Aston Martin cars are one of the best out there.

In the mean time, they've encountered a lack of developpement and they have out of age engines (consumption from the early 2000's) and gearboxes (expecially the auto reminding the visco-coupling tech).

Thus, when I learn that they are getting the AMG engine+gearbox pack in the future, I think we won't have the same sound and, hence, sensations that we have now (my favorite today with Pagani Zonda's, Lambo's and Ferrari's engines).

I don't understand how they didn't manage to be financed by external investors (or new shareholders coming in), I'm sure they would have done a fantastic job and would have remained at the top. Especially when I see how talented guies and money helped Jaguar's rebirth with the F-type.

The Aston Martin brand has been one that's only been riding on three things; 1, the car looks beautiful and sophisticated and yet not quite as bold and loud like a Lamborghini or Ferrari; 2, the car has the most amazing sound, it sounds better than anything else on the market; 3, the affiliation that it's James Bond's car (most don't know Ian Fleming in his novels wrote that Bond drove a Bentley but the movie Goldfinger popularized the Aston Martin). 

Technical engine and transmission voodoo is dated at Aston Martin.  They have engines that guzzle gas and have lower performance, they have antiquated transmission technology, they even have outdated crash safety standards!  But at the end of the day, the antiquated cars are still highly desirable for their antiquated character.  In a world where there is electric steering, only automatic transmissions, and power everything...  That antiquated Aston Martin may be just exactly what the doctor ordered... 

The best thing that could've happened to Aston Martin was to be bought by Mercedes-Benz and for it to get the AMG powertrains.  But...  We shall see if that happens anytime soon...

Nevertheless, that Vantage GT, does look appetizing!  I'd definitely want to see it, feel it, and even drive it! 

I didn't know about the Bentley/AM thing in I. Flemmings books...

The look of these AM are incredible, fro the AM V8 to the DBS etc...

Time will tell indeed.

The books have listed a few of Bentley cars over the years.  And they've been involved in chases with other cars as well in the novels.  Almost ironically, I don't recall a single Aston Martin ever being mentioned in the books. 

Ian Fleming himself was personally a fan of Bentley cars. 

Aston Martins look and sound incredible.  Absolutely gorgeous cars.  Few other brand has so many "winning" designs over the past years as Aston Martin.  And the soundtrack, I wonder if they hired a designer just to design the exhaust note!  Even the nationalistic Italians cry and say "fantastico" when they see (and hear) an Aston Martin drive by. 

I've gotta get out for a hard drive today!

Joking aside, the sound of the Aston Martin vehicles is truly amazing!
