I guess I'm not a fan of the driving characteristics of Aston Martin...
I didn't notice the specs on the One-77 were so impressive. I've driven the Vantage V8. And I've had the pleasure of being in a few Aston Martin vehicles.
And I really will say that I feel that the acceleration ferocity of the Aston Martin cars leaves me a bit underwhelmed. When it came to the handling of the Aston Martin, I felt there was a noticeable amount of chassis flex in the Vantage V8 I drove, which is odd because it is touted as a very highly rigid chassis with special glue bonding parts of the chassis. Perhaps the glue was defective on my example.
The one thing that I did absolutely love about them were the sound. The shrilling and deep sound was so symphonic that one could never tire of the soundtrack. I really adore the sound they produce, the New York Phillarmonic, of exhaust notes. Nothing sounds better than the Aston Martin. And not to mention, superb good looks in any setting during all four seasons.
