My Audi dealer used to borrow me the early Audi 90 and 100 with the 2226 cc 5pot for a weekend .. 136 hp in those days wasn't bad and the sound was already pretty cool ! Especially since they came without the turbo.

The C30 T5 is very funny to drive, and much less heavy than the C 70.
The issue with the C 70 is the weight: 200 extra kilos due to the hard top... Hence the necessity to " muscle " the engine... Best, Anthony. Nicolas
